Do I have to call or register before I come to the studio for the first time?

No, you don’t have to rsvp for your first time at our studio, we always have space for you in our Yoga Shala. We ask that you come to the studio at least 20 Minutes before class starts, this will give you enough time to register, get changed and place your mat in the Hotroom before class begins.

Do I have to agree to a contract?

No we at OM Yoga Stuttgart understand that in Life things always go differently than expected, which is why we offer you full flexibility. Practice Yoga when you want as often as you want. Du can suit your needs and purchase 5, 10 or 20 class passes or a variety of monthly sweat flats. Check out our full offer here.

We ask that you come to the studio at least 20 Minutes before class starts, this will give you enough time to ask questions, get briefed, register, get changed and place your mat in the Hotroom before class begins.

Do I have to wear special clothes?

For Girls leggings & a sports-bra. For Boys elastic shorts or swim trunks, you can wear a shirt or not, however you feel comfortable. Please know that you’ll be sweating a lot.

Can I practice the Yoga on a full/empty stomach?

A full stomach doesn’t like to exercise. Therefore, we recommend that you don’t eat a big meal right before coming to Yoga class, in fact it’s best to practice with a light stomach. In case you are taking class and didn’t eat much throughout the day then you’re always welcome to have a piece of fruit at the studio, we offer fresh fruit daily in our fruit basket. It’s a communal service, so please be kind and feed the Fruit Duck..quackquak.

Can I drink Water during Class?

Please drink water throughout the day, start in the morning with a glass of warm water to boost your metabolism and help your body to function properly. Drink as little as possible during practice and only during the little breaks between postures. If you can, try to refrain from drinking at all during a yoga class and watch how you increase your concentration by doing so. Please bring a re-usable water bottle (no glass bottles please) that you can use in class, in case you need to drink during practice. You can fill up the bottle with tap water.

Do I have to bring towels?

Yes, please bring 2 big towels, one is for the mat during practice and the other one is for your shower after class. No problem, if you forget to bring towels, you can always rent them at the studio for a small fee of 2Euro.

I don’t have a yoga mat, what do I do?

No problem, we have a yoga mat nation at the studio! You’re welcome to borrow a mat from us for a small fee of 2 Euro. Or buy your own mat at the studio, we sell yoga mats made in Germany!

I feel anxious and nervous about taking a yoga class for the first time, what can I do to relax?

Please know that you’re not alone in this! All students and the teacher in class are rooting for you. For your first time taking yoga class we ask that you trust your breath, it will guide you. Whenever you need to take a break then allow yourself to do that on your mat. Become a student of your breath and just notice how you are breathing, witness how you’re reacting toward yourself whenever you seem to “can’t” do a posture and choose to take things light, fun and relaxed rather than hard, serious and edgy. Enjoy the time you dedicate yourself. After all it’s just yoga and we yoga to be happy!

You can start the 10 Day Intro Deal if you’ve never been to our studio before. You can join anytime you want and take a class or multiple classes per Day. It’s important to know that the 10 Days are consecutive. We recommend that you come to practice daily or as often as possible in these 10 Days you’ll get a chance to get to know the studio, our yoga community, the different teachers and different types of yoga that we offer.
