A Dream-Like Nidra Session at OM Yoga Stuttgart
After practicing a 45 minutes Yin & Restorative yoga session (with a little touch of active Hatha yoga asanas), you will be guided into a body scan and Inner Silence practice.
The practice of Inner Silence (Antar Mouna in Sanskrit) is a great way to become aware of the inner noise which generally prevents us from accessing the inner silence.
Our minds are almost continually externalized, we see and hear only what is going on the outside.Through regular practice of this technique, we learn to observe the workings and understand the fluctuations of the mind, and eventually tone it down so we may experience the blissful inner silence that leads to insight, understanding and growth.
This witnessing process shows us who we are, what we are doing, and where we are heading. The practice of Inner Silence is a great tool to become aware of our internal environment, thoughts, emotions and will speed up our process of personal growth.
We will be able to discern more clearly between what is real and what isn’t, what is permanent and what is impermanent.
In this session we will focus on the following questions:
What am I thinking?
What is my mind preoccupied with?
What emotions am I experiencing at this moment?
