Yoga Nidra & Meditation

Some may think that truly relaxing is sitting on the sofa watching a movie, having a drink after a long day or reading a book in bed. However, from a scientific perspective these are only sensory diversions. True relaxation occurs on an entirely different level of awareness.

By practicing the yogic sleep, or Yoga Nidra, we shift our attention to internal parts of our body, layer for layer, spinning an invisible net of awareness from skin to bone marrow. Just like a delicate but robust spider web, our breath, along with our awareness, flows through each thread that connects to the next one, until the entire web is activated.
The yogic sleep gives an opportunity for intraconnection, the relationship and connection with ourselves, which is the foundation for interconnection, the relationship we have with others. After spending time inside of your body you will feel strangely refreshed and light, ready to live the day or truly enjoy a good night rest.

We offer two Yoga Nidra & Meditation classes a week: Tuesday 9am and Friday 9am.
